The monopoly media will claim that programs like the great Scott brothers has helped driven the Home and garden network as the third most viewed network in the cluttered cable programing where all ratings are phony and suspect as it is impossible to measure something as this. Many of these networks exist primarily to showcase the interests and desires of the one percent whose habits and interests are as interesting as watching a crab cross the beach.

 No one can convince me people actually watch this shit that a lame cable network like HGTV pts out as this is a network entity that wouldn't exist without a cable industry that forces people to have six hundred channels instead of selecting perhaps the thirty or so the public would ever watch or choose if given a ala carte option which they refuse. The success of the " Property Brothers" is a fabrication of the elite and doesn't really exist in reality but networks love the cheap option and the ability to charge the super rich to place their own relatives in positions of programming.  to get their name and brand out as a commercial and token of self-celebration to themselves and this is clearly where something like this shit show comes to play. these twin clowns don't deserve to be on any programming and are only on because they were already Canadian elites whose evidence of wealth now translates into rich people buying their own programming despite how little the public would buy or watch. it is crap like these fools program that makes flipping through the channels on the remote more tedious of a task and why more and more people are cutting the cord and ending their cable subscriptions preferring to download movies and programs of interest and avoiding fake popular crap like "Property Brothers" reality bore and stuff basically of which is a commercial for the elite class to themselves.

What Property brothers serves is giving property to air-time for something where there is absolute nothing and filling valuable air-time in one of hundreds of channels that would never exist if the consumer actually was allowed to choose a cable package instead of being forced-feed hundreds of channels most would not want to purchase. I like to think of phony ratings and programs like The Scott brothers programming as the cigarette store down the corner nobody ever goes to or the Chinese restaurant that always seems to be empty but somehow manages to be in the same location for twenty years. Subscribers are fleeing the lame programming of cable in droves as more and more folks see cable programming as for what it is and reality-based programing is just another form of commercialization for the mega-millionaires in the West who put out boring content such as these jokers such as rebuilding old houses and try to pass off this cheap content unscripted bullshit as television entertainment. cable networks look for rich people and their projects of something ludicrous as a house flipping program so they can keep budgets low without high-priced actors and drama content writers of programming with flair and actual story-telling. Something like the HGTV network and the Scott brothers is critically dismal and shameful even to be airs but it should not be surprising given the role of mainstream media in distorting the popularity of reality based cost-cutting programming that few people actually view on television.
