Nathen Hagens is a PHD candidate and a prophet of doom. He is one of the main speakers on circuit about oil depletion and the fall of civilizations and economic collapse that will come with it. He was featured with Michael Ruppert and James Howard Kuntsler on the history channels Prophets of doom. A classic episode featuring many of the modern doomsayers of America. He left Wall Street and life as a trader seeing the reality of Wall Street scam artists and their disregard of other peoples money in their casino racket. He is often praised for leaving a career as a high roller trader. So I was a bit dismayed when looking on-line for another great lecture on energy depletion from this founder of oildrum.com and found out he has a poker account. The dude goes around and plays in all these Texas tournaments of poker. Say it ain't so Nathen.
