kudos to the folks of Salon.com. One of the better progressive web sites it had a story on a beer I hate. Blue Moon is an attempt by corporate Coors to put a dent in the rising craft beer business. Blue Moon is shit. This is not even close to the quality of real craft beer and whenever someone orders one of these at the Itasca Inn I give a queer look at them. I really think people don't know Blue Moon is actually part of the Coors family. Salon.coms story headline was do not buy blue moon beer. The unjust labor policies of this company warrant a total boycott. The marketing power of corporate coorsMiller is making this beer rise among percentages of craft beer sales and it is basically an attempt to fool people who prefer craft. remember when you see Blue Moon beer you re buying Budweiser or Miller. You are not getting the independent craft beer that treats its locally employed workers betterThe Coors family is also another upper class family that is trying to use their tax dodging and profit making business to buy political seats to ensure government works for only people like them. They both use their extreme religious beliefs to try to install a theocratic type of platform especially on reproductive rights. Salon can do a better job at saying why this beer brand should be totally ignored at http://www.salon.com/2013/08/09/dont_buy_blue_moon/singleton/. I will never order this beer and will continue to push the owner of the Itasca Inn to end this brand on tap.
