The Chicago Cubs have announced that they will have a new mascot after reading accounts of people who filled out questionnaires. It seems like some jokers want to make" Wrigley Field" more family friendly and the Chicago Cubs have listened with a ridiculous looking mascot for the upcoming year. These clowns need to stay in Kane County and watch their cougars if they want their family friendly atmosphere because what makes Wrigley tick and money are young singles buying beer. The last thing the Chicago cubs need is some teenage mascot romping around flirting with mothers and acting like an idiot. There are enough folks doing that in the stands. Mascots outside of college arenas are lame and really unease's for the game viewing experience. I advise the folks that want a family friendly baseball experience to stick with the local minor league franchises in your rural and suburban areas because in reality nobody wants a mascot in the cities parks as much as we want to have little running obstacles to avoid from parents that are inattentive at sporting events. I have witnessed this time and time again at minor league hockey and baseball games as it serves as some sort of cheap family friendly entertainment from parents wanting to let loose their kids for a couple of hours. Make no mistake the Kane County Cougar serves as a role model for the Chicago Cubs mascot to be and this is one thing Chicago Cub ticket season holders never expected to see in their ballpark in their lifetime
