Craig Unger is a kick ass writer and has authors several books about the bush clans Middle East connections. He mentions how the Neo-cons ere able to rise and take advantage of America's evangelical extremism in the eighties and nineties. Unger discusses the pathetic claim of Armageddon and how evangelicals are waiting and hoping for a major war in the Middle East and how in their twisted weird prophecy that they think Jesus will come down the skies leading a ragtag army to battle the forces of evil who undoubtedly are Muslims that want to rue their own lands. The problem with leaders like Bush and Cheney is they want Muslims to think and act and be like Christians. These fucks have invested alot of money on leaders in these regions to prop u and hold power until the time they thought was right to conquer Islam. The victories of Israel with a small Jewish population over much larger Arab armies likely influence some of these men early on seeing technology as more important that manpower.
The later chapters cover the debacle in Iraq and affirmed Bush Jr. presidency as a complete failure. The lies that were given from his administration for his pathetic attempts to transform the nation of Iraq into an American oil colony was full of ignorance to the long history of the people of this region. The insurgency in Iraq was the beginning of the end of this American empire building attempt by the neoconservatives that ruled the Republican Party and help usher major philosophical changes within America moving the country to the left and electing a more responsible and reasonable leader who will curtail the American industrial complex in the coming years if we are lucky to keep progressing away from the neoconservatives.
