hey whats happening. Taxi hater here with news of taxis around the world and near you. It seems years after waiting for a fare increase to install on their already overpaying customers Chicago cab drivers are trying to press the case for a living wage and forming a union. They are hoping to bloster their political clout by forming this union never mind that half of these drivers likely are in the country illegally and that their undercutting of the industry in the first place is why most of these drivers are foreigners from Africa and the Middle East with no sense of proper American etiquette,hygiene, and customer service.
Thanks to technology many millenniums and yuppies are by passing these freaks and enjoying a new on call service through the Internet where the drivers are cool hipsters like them trying to ech out a living. Cab drivers like to say they are the most exploited workers in America because they drive and waste gas and add carbon to the environment because they insist on driving in all periods of the night and there is not a market for all of them.that is one thing that is very conspicuous.Moreover, the ridiculous notion stated by Bhairavi Desai that these guys labor (drive) over 60 to 70 hours a week to earn minimun wage is more of an apparent indication that ..hello..the market is saturated. whats next. These drivers will attempting to demand a law where every Chicagoan must take a taxi three times a week. Like I said thes eguys get little sympathy how they undercut American workers over the years in some of the largest cities in this country and the reason you never see a colorful cast of cab driver characters of taxi drivers like you did in the seventies is becasue somebody allowed these jokers into this country with no skill except for driving and bitching.
