Tony Miselli
He calls them Domocrips and Rebloodlicans in the book with this same title by former Governor/pro wrestler Jesse Ventura some years ago. This is a great book from a guy who knows what is wrong with the system and he goes through many of these problems and how the two party system set up this duopoly in our political process. The two party system has worked mostly in order to help the rich get richer and the rest of America get poorer and Jesse throws a lot of numbers and facts through the first chapter. He talks about big companies and their consolidations that have lessened consumer choice and driven more of our household needs into buying their products in major industry today. The two party gang system ensures outrageous bonuses and salaries will always be allowed from those in control of these multinational corporations and that the money goes back into the pockets of these wealthy politicians and a complicate mainstream media. Ventura shows the synergy between elected officials and lucrative lobbying and how a small class can get very wealthy doing their best to undermine democracy and ensuring a dropping of lifestyle for those outside this gang political structure. Ventura wonders why if the salary for congressmen is about 174,000 why the fuck so many members of congress are multi-millionaires.
Jesse goes after both parties but does seem to give it more to the culturally supremacist and demanding Republican party. the amount of money being spent by these PACs is a direst assault on the ability and vote of the common man and Ventura surmises these rich fucks have such big egos and this brings them pride into thinking their actions count more in the political arena than a Joe the plumber. They are able to set up military industrial and prison complex systems and make them private to rich en their big donor friends and bring more secret money into the shadowy exchange between government and private corporations. Limiting the voting franchise is another upcoming serious move by them by a seemingly disgruntled mood they appear to be seeing from a disenfranchised public. Jesse goes into this a bit and how dramatically republicans want to end early voting and so forth. Big medias collusion with these party gangs is written in the end of the book and how they are an effective tool in making a fool out of the average citizen. Most people care little about politics and are too distracted by the content that these five major companies put out there to fully distract the public to what is going on with this scam harming the nation. they are being played for suckers for continuing the game instead of helping form third parties to end this monopoly of political and abuse of power. The fact that an asshole like Paul Ryan can get elected and then propose 4.3 trillion in cuts on social programs while offering 4.2 trillion in tax cuts for mainly the top one percent to enjoy shows the total reduction of empathy these elected officials have for anyone who cannot donate thousands to their rule. This is a great book by Jesse Ventura and hopefully will get more independents realizing the need to give the voting public alternatives to this disgrace in modern America.
