Ray Kurzweil is an idiot. The Wall Street Journal interviewed this man again about his views that singularity will occur and that man and machine will be one. Whether man or e planet. An survive global warming and climate change is so etching that Kurzweil didn't elaborate on but he thinks by 2045 that man will no longer be alive without a machine. Ray says that the hardware and the software of human-legal intelligence will being place by 2029. Then maybe the machines will start working on developing the planet for human survival in the future.then again if machines are as smart as humans maybe earth extractions and burning the atmosphere will a celebrate. 
Kurzweil says nothing on the environment as his future is one of science fiction and role playing fantasy where real issues like this are never discussed. It is our intelligence and reliance on technology that has helped destroy and poison the Earth where humanity's fate is in doubt that jackasses like this jagoff Ray Kurzweil though thinks machines will have all the answers after all has Ray has stated in his lifetime when he started out at MIT computers were way across campus in a large room.
