Mr toad was some character that appeared on Zippy the Pinhead comic strip and has had a special place for many people. More attractive (of drawing) and interesting than the character of this lame comic strip called Zippy the Pinhead, Mr Toad was an interesting comic caricature of a man with a frog head with plenty of advice to give to the world of Zippy the Pinhead and he clearly deserved his own comic strip. Why author and cartoonist Bill Griffen didn't just drop the Zippy character and focus his time and devotion to this frog head is disappointing. There have been many frog man comic drawings and characters over the years but Mr Toad from Zippy was pretty darn cool. Mr Toad was a very opinionated frog who was very secure giving his thoughts and remarks about the world and the way things ought to be in the world. Cartoonist Bill Griffin came up with an excellent character that he should of highlighted and drawn more instead of the ugly guy in a clown suit who was the main feature of his artwork. Mr Toad was was way more poplar and deserved to be something more than just a supporting role in Zippy the Pinhead very deserving of his own franchise in the Sunday funnies. In a real world of comic strip justice a Mr Toad would not have played second banana to anyone in the comic pages and world of been top dog or frog in comics being bigger than snoopy or Garfield who were nothing in coolness and critique of nature and the living world that Mr Toad was so great to read.
