Michael Lewis wastes a story on absurdity of Tuhoy families and adoption of Memphis giant

   "The Blind Side" is a book that was made to a movie about the life of Michael Oher and how some sports addicted white family took him in their household because he was large. The Leigh and Sean Tuhoy were a evangelical family that had two kids and wanted a football payer as sports and athletes were part of their life as it is for many Christian conservative Southern households.

Disappointed that their natural so offered o athletic prowess to becoming NFL player this Republican evangelical household hold adopted a big black kid and enrolled him in  Briarcrest Christian school to pay football. Michael Oher was blessed by their God to be born big and they had money and new how to mold him into a NFL athlete that his natural Ron mother in a poor drug-affected neighborhood didn't. Why a liberal like Michael Lewis would write a story on this facade of American absurdity that made it to the big screens is very disappointing and perhaps Michael Lewis can write some day of the magnitude of injuries to former football players in later years playing this dumb collision sport. perhaps Lewis is a sports and football addict to willing to ignore the catastrophes American collision ball does to the human body. This book is pathetic as is this jock Christian family that only cares for poor kids if they offer some roster spot on an athletic school field to keep their cushy athletic sports administration complex well financed. The message Lewis gives in this book about the Tuhoy family is that if you have potential as a NFL linemen then this family is more than willing to invest in you and take care of you financially rewarding with free meals and desperate tutors for someone with low mentality. All the best schools and tutors couldn't change the fact that this guy had terrible grades and basically this is another example of where sports have opportunities that others couldn't share. Perhaps Michael Lewis and the Tuhoy family one day would care for the poor kids who are not giants and deserving of the equal chance in life but that likely would not be the case. The obsession and stranglehold that Christian have for sports in life and communities will only open up opportunities from those with tremendous athletic ability as these noble crusaders see this has a sign of talent being given from their creator in the sky. People  like this stupid taco bell owning family only care for young people if they show athletic prowess and can somehow benefit life coaches who will use sports to spread the phony word of a crucified Sun God.

This family had no shame of even hiding the fact that they only took in this big buck because they thought he would make a great NFL lineman protecting the valuable asset of a quarterback. What his upper-income white family did with Michael other is shameful and history is full of these paternalistic people trying to change other cultures and adopting kids from other ethnic backgrounds and trying to turn them into preppy towns of good will from affluent whites. Numerous Native America children went through the same processor Mchael Oher and for some reason Michael Lewis in this book seems to give approval  of this cultural forced assimilation. The only difference is the Touhey family knew there would be even more outrageous and financial rewards for themselves if this adopted kid made it to the NFL . Anyone doubting the similarities of slavery to modern day NFL and the sports industrial complex should read this book. Why a great writer like Michael Lewis would not highlight the silliness and absolute arrogance of this Christian family only caring for old Mississippi football program as the real goal of adopting this football freak in Michael Oher is disappointing Nd perhaps Lewis should concentrate more on writing about banks and less of sports.

Social Critic criticism...the ghettoization of spring break

   Sprng breaks have becoming dangerously  as outsiders who never spent a day in college descend onto these Florida towns. These morons act like George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin thugs to one another and have helped to ruin what was a tradition of young people enjoying the sun. There was a shooting of seven people in one Florida panhandle resort town as hordes of blacks made their way down South for the beach and to get a lighter tan. Panama City officials are now trying to figure out how to implement restrictions to this new type of party animal who really have no business coming down for spring breaks and their studies consist mainly of selling crack and avoiding bullets all winter. A house party of several hundred blacks dissolved into chaos and as usual shots rang out and seven bastards were shot highlighting this new spring menace that descends onto the warm temperatures and house parties of Florida spring break towns.

These small town police forces do not have the budget for the massive urban folks that try to mingle with the college kids and fight for some easy jingle through drug use, pickpocketing, or burglaries. David Jamaichael Daniels of Mobile had come down to Florida with some other Alabama A and M students and exactly why his buddies didn't go to Detroit or Cleveland for spring break instead is something to be pondered. No news reports have reported the race of these victims and why are they down in Floridan beaches if most are not students and so forth. These thug friends of a few black college students have been wrecking havoc on a whole bunch of spring break towns for years as they come down to Florida with permanent suntans and then have house parties that they can hold back home in Mobile or an of these other loser Southern cities they are stuck. I mean doesn't Mobile Alabama already have beaches and war, weather. What it is that these guys want to do is ruin the local enjoyment of other tourists who seek the rays of Florida from having a semester where they actually attend the university and not use it as a base for easy drug sales. The old days of spring break have changed along with demographics of this country and the local economy becomes more ghettoized and there will be many more spring break house and beach party shootings until this menace is checked

Perhaps the moronic Barry Rozner didn't notice how quickly boxings importance and relevance in the public has disappeared over the years and the same will happen for football. Rozner says here it is in 2015 and the National Football League is bigger and badder as ever with their government subsidies and corporate bank bailed out money to keep shit like the National Football League around for companies to divert money around avoiding paying workers a livable wage. This is pretty much what big time sports. The sports world and leagues exist to divert money around to the special interests of corporations and use tax payer money to fund their entertainment complexes that they they can rent out to companies. Rozner wrote a recent article pointing this out but had a fact wrong. fans are not eating this out and if they went to a paid subscription rates this would bear fruit and is why the National Football League has never done this for playoff games and the Super Bowl.

 This game only has fans because of the debt financing and constant advertising of tis league and so-called sport from television and advertising that has such a powerful influence of a dumbed down nation that lets a small percentage control most of the nations wealth. A guy like barry Rozner will always defend the league regardless of the scientific facts of the dangers for the players because the fuck is an elitest who gets paid for writing on the game and not having his skinny frame on the tax-funded fields of this ultimate stupidity on Sundays. Barry Rozner is a tool of the sport and is not cool just a really dumb looking dweeb who should be fortunate that in life he was not in a position to have to play this big and bad game.

The Dukes of Hazzard returns in form of commercial advertising

   The Dukes of Hazard was a very popular television program and there are many executives who wish they could of remolded this program with constant barrages of product placement. The great thing about the Dukes was that it highlighted a part of America in its episodes that was not dominated by Madison Avenue in New York City. The Dukes of Hazzard have now been made into a commercial showing the same aging actors portraying the same roles as old dudes.  These unfortunate commercials for auto trader.com reunite John Schneider and Tom Wopat as Bo and Luke Duke being overrun by the modern gas guzzlers of todays police force in Hazard County. I suppose the county is no longer corrupt and finally decided to spend the money to improve its infrastructure although with the police state demands of modern Amerikkk they likely had little choice. These commercials suck ass because the dukes don't even look like the dukes of hazard from the seventies and for all I now these might not even be the original actors. most kids and young folk also have no clue who the fuck these old guys are and why they are driving a car with a big fat 0 on it.These commercials are a shame to see these actors sellout their infamous characters to corporate advertising but I suppose these guys have little chance to make jingle in the world of youth-dominated film and television industries.

They would be lucky to get a tiny role if they ever did a remake and a big budget movie of this classic television show that dominated the ratings in the seventies and eighties. The image though of an aging Bo and Luke Duke still driving the General Lee and actually getting caught is painful for longtime fans of this program. When Luke whipped out a cell phone to click on the GPS I flicked off the television as fast as I could. Actually not having cable or a television for the past twenty years I actually walked out of whatever room or business I happened to catch these disappointing and embarrassing commercials for auto trader. I hope Wopat and Schneider made some good jingle from Autotrader humiliating themselves and angering many long time fans. maybe next time they make a new commercial they can explain why they had the confederate battle flag on their car all them years too.

Jim Toomey brings the Left Shark to Shermans' Lagoon

  The left shark was a choreographed act to have the media have a sensation of using my coined phrase left shark during the Super Bowl and the left shark term became a brief pop-cultural sensation. I have no proof but somebody was playing games somewhere and now Jim Toomey is having my blogs trademark used in his comic strips. he decided to draw the Left Shark dancer from the Miles Cyrus Super Bowl routine misdance fame on his comic strip. he made out the left shark to be some sort of fucking retard for a few panels and had a laugh. I like the drawings of the Left Shark and really think Toomey can go in a new direction and focus his  joshing comic strip on left shark and just dump this chump Sherman. Jim Toomey was a jolly joker with this let shark character and it was soon taken away with straight jackets into the shark hospital up near the Jersey shore line. Left Shark's appearance on Sherman's Lagoon was brief and lets hope it returns someday with giving the dunce Sherman some real political advice to why free-market neo-liberalist unregulated policies has made just about every shark species threatened on all the seven seas. There are many ways that Sherman is not as smart as Left Shark ignoring the issues that plague our finned fish friends face on a daily issue.

Taco Johns returns to main street for the hungery people of Longmont Colorodo

   After a brutal five year absence the citizens of Longmont, Colorodo are celebrating again as Taco Johns returns on Main Street. The place has remained empty and an eyesore to this struggling community for years and many residents had long given up hope that their favorite cheap Mexican place would ever reopen. The residents fears a Taco Bell might reopen and city assemblymen were quick to put a local ordinance to dispel this possibility.

After five long years Taco Johns corporate offices decided that the citizens of this old mini g town had suffered enough and they apparently got the council to lower some taxes to bring back this jumping Taco joint and franchise back the  "ruby" city of Longmont. The last Taco Johns had been at this 933 Main Street location for thirty three years before falling victim of the recession that hit this remote town of junkies and antique dealers really hard. Local citizen Elmer Wyatt was excited to see this Taco Johns reopen. "The city hasn't been the same since it went away" he said. I remember the day it went from a Taco House to Taco Johns back in the mid seventies and this location has been selling tacos forever ...it seems".  the nostalgia the citizens of this town had for cheap tacos goes way back yet they don't seem to want any more Taco Bells or prefer to see it regulated towards the back parts of this    Village. Taco Johns are a great brand to rural Americans who can't seem to get big time investors willing to bring more luxury versions of Mexican restaurants to certain regions and keep it in the major cities of America

Powerful taxi companies and political allies seek to cap Uber drivers in Manhatten

   Taxi hater here mother ..... I got news recently by New York City that is being pressured by fucken cabbies to put a cap on Uber drivers as the taxi industry is capped to make way for a small monopoly and high value for one of its precious medallions. This scam has mad these medallions worth some millions until Uber came around and threatened ending this capitalist/government alliance scam. Uber drivers recently eclipsed the number of taxi drivers in this mammoth city. A city of over eight million has had like thirteen thousand taxi drivers for a long time. taxi industry insiders have pushed city hall to put a cap on these drivers and limit any future numbers being added to the street s of this busy city that always has passengers looking for a ride. That these riders are increasingly getting irate by having to take rides by taxi companies instead of picking out their drivers is the real cause of concern to the taxi industry.

Uber is changing the face of this fucken industry giving opportunity to native born drivers who would never be given a chance at taxi companies that prefer foreign workers they can push and brush aside any concerns of the workers. Manhattan has seen an influx of outsiders bringing in their cars to work as Uber drivers as their regions offer dramatically no economic opportunities. This is a perfect reflection of the growing fucken inequality in this country and visual  proof  of the growing lower classes in America that are now immigrating with vehicles at their sides. They are doing it for the same economic reasons that the traditional ignorant Middle Eastern dominated taxi drivers have been drawn for generations. These guys are now upset that THEY are having to compete with American workers now after decades having the taxi work exclusivity to them and their fucken relatives back home. Uber and Lyft's potential growth is being tested by the taxi companies that don't want a free-market system for their occupation but they are ok with it in other areas of their lives. New York City needs to quit catering to foreign taxi plutocrat moguls and let the free-market work and all people to have an opportunity to make a living with this easy gig of driving a small car.

Richard Wolff blasts the pizza industry

   American are addicted to pizza. Richard Wolff mentioned how the largest pizza purveyor in the United States. Pizza hut donates 99 percent of their political  donations to the republican party. There is no doubt that the Republican party is now the pizza party.Richard Wolff wondered why Pizza Hut and other Pizza chains (Little Caesars, Papa Johns, Dominos ) contribute so much money to one political party over the other.

The Pizza Chains and industry fear they will lose the steady stream of childhood obesity and free access to pizza in the school cafeterias all over the country. Pizza companies are worried about the health goals of liberals to cutting their access and ability to addict kids early in life to a life and future of pizza. Health consciousness individuals and politicians realize that the obesity epidemic in primarily caused by large corporations and their pushing of pizza. Pizza is made up unhealthy cheap food and ingredients where there are huge potential profits in a nation of fat fucks eating this food. Richard Wolff points out these profits are used to keep the health conscious demands quite and not interfere with their pizza contributions to the obesity epidemic of this fat nation. I just loved this particular episode of Wolff talking about pizza. He should of mentioned how the farther away y get from city center these days the larger people get and the more shit run pizza joints you see all over both corporate and family owned. you do not see as many pizza places n the city as you see pizza in the suburbs and the fat correlation is directly tied to the number of places to get pizza The profits of these pizza companies to the Republican party to fight off these health conscious voices and calls to politicians.

 Richard Wolff correctly talked on his podcast how growing concern over pizzas increasing contributions to diabetes and other health related issues this nation faces from all this unhealthy addictive eating of pizza. Schools should not be endorsing so much unhealthy eating on their menus and one of the reasons why pizza has held this power is getting a steady dose of pizza into the pliable brains and tastes of young minds. Pizza corporations are some of the most scrupulous companies out there with their massive contributions to both the political world and advertising plutocrats. There are no corporations in the business of healthy eating and the few as Wolff mentions are small. The giant food companies are basically in the business of pushing bad foods because they are profitable and no their product is best example than pizza.. Thanks to their contributions to society we have enormous tax bills for a health system that is primarily caused from the fundamental of our food distribution and processing system and bad individual choice from food consumers.

Michael Bellesiles writes a book about 1877

   Most people would not remember 1877 being an important year in their history classes and questionably few history teachers ever talked much of this crucial year in their classes. The year saw the great strikes and worker rebellions against the upper classes that were quit literally trying to starve their workers and return slavery for the masses in the new industrial age.

Author Michael Bellesies has written a book called" 1877 America's Year Of Living Violently" and this piece covers pretty much all of the violence and political discord that has always existed in this country well before the dawn of the media age. so much happened in this country during this era and year and in this book he covers everything you need to know about 1877. Every year should have a book written about it but the strike of railroad workers and the police state and militias used to crush it is the highlight of this book as this country was exploding. The 1870's were has tumultuous as the sixties were and so many things happened and Bellesiles goes through events through all of the famous Americans alive at the time.  the sudden rise of mass protest to fight back against corporate abuses and cuts in salaries and wages was a new phenomenal in this era and it frighten the fuck out of the upper classes. The social order was coming apart and soon soldiers who were on the plains fighting Indians soon were used to quell a new urban disorder against the same type of overreach and abuse of a class not entirely seen as human by the controllers of capital. This book captures the bringing order to the West to the racial strife and increased oppression in the South. It covers the rise of workers rights in the East and the rise of tramps and vagrants in the North. Bellesiles recounts much of the massive fear of the new mobile tramp class of homeless that crisscrossed the nation seeking generous handouts and work wherever they could find it. The railroads allowed the homeless and the unemployed to travel everywhere and the press highlighted their crimes while ignoring the causes of the depression of 1873 that put so many in a desperate position. Entire mining towns and communities had to be transplanted to seek homes elsewhere as housing shortages and inconsistent economies too its toll on families and society. this has always been a nation of fear and for a decade the poor and transient, victims of a ruthless business society, were printed on and had their human ity degraded through the business press that was getting new power and into everyday ears with their misinformation and bias reporting. 1877 was a brutal year for anyone not white and rich and this book does an amiable job of getting this point across and how much worse we had oppression on people.
