The tri-state area was rocked by a couple of brutal murders in bars in the past few weeks. The bar was once the number one location for murders at the turn of the century and held the spot for a long time across this nation as violence was usually attributed to alcohol consumption. The first mortifying murder occurred in Highland, Indiana where Joshua Headly was found bleeding profusely after a massive bar brawl over at Franco's bar of Highland.
Mr Headley was a father of two and what he was doing out at two in the morning at this redneck sports bar is not known. Needless to say yet his Franco's bar is not a family friendly place. Over fifteen people were involved in the brawl at it is not know who exactly made the fatal plunge.

On the same day tough in an entirely different neighborhood and region gunfire broke out with hours of Headly"s fatal stabbing. At Adrianna's sports pub in South suburban majority black village of Markham 26 yer old Christopher Hooper was gunned down Nd critically wounded. This was, not a redneck rural bar but a urban ghetto suburban bar that happened to be hosting future rapper contest with a rapper named future. Whether Christopher Hooper entered the contest and rapped a few jams prior to the shooting is not known perhaps he would of had a good chance of winning. A fight erupted outside the bar and then shots rang out. Now I just got word..there was a shooting at a bar in Lake Villa. Details Re sketchy I'm not sure if this was near the border at the bar. Stay tuned to my bar column here for all the news on bar shootings and killings and always catch me and drop in the Itasca Inn on Irving Park Road weekend nights as I attend bar and make sure no fights or brawls occur on my watch. Peace and be careful out there in the pubs.
