Matt Lewis often talks about the 2016 presidential candidates and is marveled at how there are so many strong contenders and big names especially compared to the Democrats. Lewis is the hoist of a bad right wing podcast and a co-host of a bloggingheads program on the internet. This is a guy who has a sports analogy with every political statement on these political sports and the guy is the stereotypical white right-wing dweeb often getting television time on corporate television for repeating thinking tank lines instead of actually being somebody.
Liberals need to somehow repeat this fake media expertise appearances on television with these political annalists that are introduced as being some experts on politics.
The right wing think tanks fund many guys like Matt Lewis to make appearances on corporate television even though they know little and have done so in life. The only thing Matt Lewis is an expert is on sports and hoping the Republicans grab the White House no matter how crazy they appear to be. matt doesn't get it that the reason there are so many high profile Republican names like Bobby Jindal, Marco Rubio , Ted Cruz, Scott Walker, Chris Christie, Mitch Daniels and other these other names that gives him a hard on and actually makes him think they can capture all three chambers, that the reason they are high profile are these gerrymandered divisions in our political life that allow these creeps to be elected in lame rural states and elections in off presidential years.
Most of these republicans are three headed monster who have the same views that our out of touch with our left-leaning population. Lewis is a Christian geek who gleefully thinks that this long list of recognizable names thinking about running will somehow translate to advantages in 2016. Most of America doesn't give a rats ass about these names and there was a long list of Republican Governors and Senators back in 2008 and 2012 that had well-known names through the promotion from FOX and other right-wing media assholes. The list of Republican candidates are basically guys who stand little chance of being elected with their views in a larger national election and if Matt Lewis wasn't so indulged in thinking about sports and bringing it up in his political dialogues he likely would stop and think about this for a momemto. Personally I would love to see the fat guy and the Indian White wanabee on the ticket and see them go down badly against Hillary Clinton.
