Operation Ajax another American plot in the Midde East
Ali Muhammad
The story of the Wests coup against the elected leader Mohammad Mossadegh's administration in Iran and placing the Shah as a puppet leader is a story that is not more known to Americans. The death to America chants are orchestrated today because of this elaborate plan to prevent the nationalization of Iran's oil fields where they could of been put to better use to lifting the economy of Iran out of despair poverty for most of its citizens. The reason Iran is not thriving say like South Korea and other Asian tigers is because of the number of years Shah's and shah wanabees elites in iran let foreigners control all of the major assets.
Stephan Kinzer brings this story to light with his book titles "All Of The Shah's Men and examines the story how the British and the Americans plotted and staged an uprising and dissent to Mossadegh's rule replacing the nationalist leader of Iran. the West wanted to prevent a Persian version of Gamel Abdel Nasser who pretty much moved Egypt away from the sphere of influence with the British and moved closer to the Soviet union becoming Israel's number one enemy. This was at the height of the cold war and shortly after the creation of the illegal Israeli state and the Western banking financial military class was not going to let Iran fall to the enemies. The fear f Iran going communist was the primary motive of the CIA sending in a Roosevelt into the country and organizing a plot to put a despotic royal leader back in power.
This story is without a doubt one of the shameful acts in this nations history and the continuing sanctions against this country to protect the colonial power of Israel is embarrassing. The nascent rise of Iranian democracy was squashed by a economic agenda of Britain and America that did not want Iran to leave and be independent but remain a colony to western oil companies. Mohammed Reza Shah would take power and work on orders from Washington to be one of the twentieth centuries most ruthless tyrants who rule was eventually overcome from a Islamic revolution that both hated capitalism and Communism with equal zeal. The author Kinzer goes into accosts of the numerous bribes, staged riots, money laundering, meetings, plots, and assassinations that made this another tumultuous time in the history of Persia and culminated in another round of foreign exploitation of this oldest of all civilizations. The role of Kermit Roosevelt's and H Norman Schwarzkopf's role in this plot shows the small plutocratic family legacies in America that has been calling the shots and dictating war and foreign policy for this country for generations. The nationlizationon of the Anglo-Iranian oil company was a historic event that shaped the modern world as colonial subjects fought off vestige companies of Western colonialism and the corrupt leaders that it brings with them in the era of globalization and economic order. The fight in Iran continues to this day.
