Dave Zirin hosts a ultra-liberal sports podcast where sports and leftist politics combine and he had a woman named Amy K. Nelson of The Daily Beast. He went on a tangent about the tenth year anniversary of hurricane Katrina and how the federal government neglected poor black folks and let them swim it out. the same usual Leftist Hurricane Katrina stuff that got dished out again last month because of the anniversary and likely will brought up again ten years from now. What was interesting though was talking about the future of New Orleans and the positive changes that have developed as huge chunks of formerly dangerous negro murder ghetto has been revitalized. This obviously angers a Dave Zirin and others seeing the city get improved and less black as others move in and for some reason these liberals don't thinking this diversity is positive. Anything that dilutes black urban power and a city seems to upset this jag Zirin because he is such a pro-black bastard. The city has been able to save money as less crime and welfare costs to inner-city residents have disappeared as they have been displaces and new trolley cars and other tourist improvements have improved the economy and look of this once ugly Detroit -type city.
Never mind the filth and danger that was pre-Katrina new Orleans and how if you wandered a few blocks you would get killed. the city has done a tremendous job rebuilding itself despite what happens and the large swaths of bad shit that still exists in this city. Many residents needed to be displaced as they were holding back the city from improving and stayed and added absolutely nothing to the city except take and drain its resources that could go into better projects. Hurricane Katrina has been a blessing to this city displacing much of the poor underclass that terrorized this city for decades holding back this great city from being an even ore important tourist and commerce center for the South. zirin doesn't want to admit but in order for a city to improve large chunks of its poor underclass and uneducated class needs to be replaced and put in the boondock bayous where they can cause less trouble and travel and this can only ameliorate what was once burnout urban areas and make them more welcoming for all with an improved economy and positive outlook
