Rick Telander wants sports gambling everywhere

Guy Baldwin

Sports columnist Rick Telander thinks they should just allow sports gambling because it is going on anyway and according to ESPN ninety five billion will be spent of sports gambling. What research or know-how it took the quantitative exploring sports writers at ESPN to come up with that figure is unknown. Telander then reiterated recently in an article  that according to unnamed research the United states would be the worlds biggest gaming market generating 12.4 billion dollars. Not 12.5 or 12.1 but according to just numbers Rick Telander throws out it is 12.4 billion dollars of extra revenue this industry could make if government legalized sports betting. Telander says this is too much money for states to ignore ignoring the fact that people would have less money for other purchases and tax generating revenue if they were allowed to bet and gamble their fortunes away into poverty and thus causing new strains and resources on government. Sports gambling g will never be legal anywhere and if Telander used 12.4 percent of his brain while writing this declaration he would know venal presence and integrity of sports that he loves so  much would be jeopardized. Telander's only arguments to why we should have it is because laws effectively stopping it outside Nevada is ineffective and that states have lotteries. the old adjective was that American sports was less prone than European sports to effects of organize crime and gambling because of the exorbitant incomes athletes get in this day in America. m resort sports book is one of the best in the vegas areThats always been bullshit in my min d as these psychotics can never get enough and try to cheat all of the time. Sports gambling is indeed ruining the integrity of sports with only certain cities winning championships and so forth and a Telander wants to see more gambling decide the results. This fool doesn't know that because of spread of gambling of all types is why we are seeing more inequality and corruption on a grand scale making this country look like Egypt more than a democratic society this country was founded. rich people who lobby government for tax breaks use this saved  money and income not to reinvest in economy but to reinvest growing the sports industrial, media, and casino/gambling complexes and only an idiot like Rick Telander that gets his paychecks from this arrangement would profit this idea. Maybe Rick can write a piece about trying to do the right thing and getting big government, corporations, and gambling out of promoting sports in this country. You will never see this nand expect more gambling scandals in American sports as the push for more sports betting lounges becomes increased by the racketeers of this world.
