Paul Teutul Sr's second passion?

Gus Perkowski
Orange County Choppers was a lame show where this family built ugly corporate motorcycles. They snookered many companies to spend big bucks from their marketing departments that somehow it was a wise investment to buy a custom chopper and then have it aired on cable television. Teutul Sr had a passion of bikes along with his son and for a few years this show managed some ratings. In the later years though the show became a joke and Teutul Sr was desperate to keep his creditors at bay and keep both the program and his money losing company afloat. he even decided to make a fool of himself cross-dressing in a Malaysian thrift shop and donning weird wigs having people question both his sexuality and insanity. The cross-dressing affair though was enough even for his most loyal middle aged biking fans who fled the show shortly after that episode aired and his ratings dropped dramatically. Dressing up as a fruitcake was just too much for people to take. Teutal yelling at his sons was one thing but seeing this jackass just act dumb because Pilgrim Studio executives demanded it was enough for fans of this show to change the channel and never come back to the same tired antics of the Teutuls and their ugly bikes. not even sure if these fools are still on the air or if there is talk about resurrecting this trainwreck as corporate cable gets desperate for programming they can continue to fill in with corporate product placement in place for additional subliminal advertising. As long as this blog continues we will continue to report and post about the first jackass family of bike building.which is the Teutal klan.
