A report came out that many young athletes claimed their sports high school coaches benched them or cut them after they quit a private league that these coaches were alot a part or in some cases actually owned. These coaches milked these student-athletes and their parents out of thousands of dollars for the privilege of participating in these extra-curricular activities and the right to be a part of the high school team these leagues and the high school coaches all involved together with these private teams are all in cahoots for a pay-to-play concept not too dissimilar with what you would see on these internet backpage escort sites. dave savini of Chicago's CBS news did a good expose showing a few of these athletes and their complains undoubtly echoed by many other athletes in schools who have experiences similar incidents. Needless to say these coaches select starters and players on the basis of who is most devoted to keep their private leagues churning with with income for the coaches and these leagues helping corrupt the sports mind of these young athletes at an early age. Many of these young athletes are horrified that a coach and someone who claimed to be a mentor and a friend would so be quick to disavow them and punish them for not making volleyball an eight hour mission. these sports leagues and the income they make from student athletes outside of school and the role this places in their selection to the school team needs to be really examined as this is a dirty industry ripe for corruption by over zealous parents who need an ego trip seeing their child done a sports uniform. there are most likely countless other student athletes who do not make the grade or team because their parents are unwilling to cut a check to these bastard coaches and their private teams that they run in conjunction with the school sponser tax-payer funded team that pays often for the facilities for these coaches to recruit and practice.
