al Sharpton and the black celebrity class has had enough. They are blasting the Oscars selection committee and claiming discrimination as a second year goes by and no Black actors or movies were nominated for an Oscar. All this is dressing to avoid the real problems that afflict the black community and for Al Sharpton to get involved just makes current black leadership look ridiculous. Are inner-city folks suppose to give a shit about Jada Pinkett Smith's call for a boycott where wealthy Black media folks can benefit from more free publicity that the Oscars have to offer for their career. This is the real reason Will Smith's old broad is so vocal and in reality no one in the hood gives a shit about these multi-millionaire jackasses who have long since abandoned the black community and the hood residing in ultra-White Beverly hills communities.
Hollywood has been very good finically to Will smith and his family and because some members of the American black bourgeoisie are angered at snubs to some elitist ball everyday folks struggling hard for a living need not worry about this Oscar issue. just wondered how long before it took Al Sharpton to enter this fray as it was right up his ballpark. The horse needed more hay to blow his nostrils ...bammmm
. Al Sharpton has called for a boycott of blacks seeing films and I have long called for this as a black conservative. Film has always highlighted the negative aspects of black culture and as a result help propagate to black youth how they should act and talk to one another and the worse aspects of black culture are directly linked to portrayal of us as a people through movies and TV. of course this jackass is just concerned about the money and roles that could be going to black actors and others but if African-Americans are really upset at the Oscar selection process the need to start their own movies and production companies and quit begging White Hollywood for love. Just like the last post and John McCain Al Sharpton is another man that needs to open that coffin and jump right in. When dudes like Sharpton and mcain are done the world will be a better place because they are nothing but about the nonsense in public discourse. protecting the ego of wealthy Black Hollywood nobility should not be in top twenty of acitivists agenda.
