Anne Swaney was a Chicago digital producer for news networks and being paid so well by the media had plenty of money to travel. She went alone to Belize which is a dangerous country in Central America and she was quickly raped and murdered when alone down by the river. Why these western women continue to put themselves imperious conditions traveling alone and without escort of men is amazing. I would be on edge and on my guard being in any of these Central American countries and apparently these women really don't take into account that they are easy targets from these poverty stricken people and Belize has always and will always be a dangerous nation.
Anne loved horses but should of taken a wiser vacation in Kentucky than Belize and now the FBI is helping to search for the killer as this country likely doesn't even have an adequate police force to deal with all these recent murders of tourists. This murder was in a remote location and most likely someone connected with the resort is responsible for this crime. if you can't even trust the people managing the resort who can you trust in these far away nations where crimes against women and a regular occurrences and a Western beautiful blonde traveling alone a target with a bulls eyes for these native sexual predators. Anne is one of many overpaid western women who make too much money and then take it out on these dangerous foreign escapades opening themselves oblivious to the dangers all around them.
