Graham Hancock is a hell of a guy and one with a cool name. as mentioned earlier in this blog he believes a comet will destroy our civilization soon and that the same comet is a continual cycle often repeating this destruction on humanity and the number of outstanding civilizations that have arisen from the upright monkeys through many many moons and comets ago. In his new book called " Magicians of The God' Graham speculates that survivors fled the climatic destruction of the flood and tried to reestablish teachings to other parts of the world of a productive agricultural society before the comet flooding. These travelers restored some lost knowledge and learning from the lost civilizations and Graham Hancock's book is a long read for people familiar with research into similarities of ancient artifacts and their astronomical connections. much of this book covers Mr Handcock's obsession with Obekli Tepe and some recent excavations that he claims reveal some 12,000 year old megalithic stone structures. There are a lot of pictures of old rolling stones in this book and it can be a bit of a bore and I am sure they are more exciting if you are actually there and can appreciate the human ingenuity back then of putting some big blocks of stones together like they are some fucking puzzle. there were no legos or books back then so I suppose people in groups can determine a way to move some of this heavy metal stones. I don't know what the purpose of this was ..perhaps they were fracking for fossil fuels.
Hancock says that human civilization goes way back and the reason that drawings of these magicians are so similar in differnet parts of the world is because they are soehow all related to the same group of wanderers who wanted to knock some sense into these lazy hunter-gatherers that didn't have a clue to civilization and were not affected much with destruction of an enevironment and civilization. Graham shows how drawings from all over the world show a resemblance to the same bearded men but perhaps these were just ancient hippies who wanted to go against the grain and try new stuff. The book guesses that maybe the ancient builders were helped by some ancient technology that made moving these fifty ton blocks much easier on the back of this human labor needed fr the work. Graham talks about the Sphinx and goes int a lengthy explanation of something of stars and a equinox and a sunrise alighnment of some constellation leo. I just want to know why the Sphinx looks like a cat man. All this ancient architecture mysterious surely keeps graham up late into the night and I wish he could explain a bit how we evolved from making the Spynix or these stone massive circles in Baalbek to making a one week strip mall in Hammond, Indiana? Hancock ends a great speculative pyrmamid book with trying to scare the shit out of the reader saying debris from this last comet smash on earth still travels are solar system and can come hailing down soon.
