Punk Scott Horton and guest think the United States behind Brazil protests against government and corruption

Bud Cooper
Apparently anytime there is a massive protest movement in another country men like Scott Horton and ted snider will speculate the CIA is behind it. Scott Horton of course is our punk, the anti-war podcaster we follow on a regular basis with a consistent guest list that is a whos who of anti-American military involvement anywhere to protect our business interests and allies overseas. Ted snider wrote some piece on some websites about the situation in Brazil being another covert American plan to topple a South American democracy. Latin American coups are no longer commonly overt military actions or covert CIA actions. Since Obama came to power, coups, including Latin American coups, are silent coups. This according to Ted Snider as he went on to ramble that al these protest movements and pressure on leadership are basically the cold war still being waged between Russia and the United States. The defeated minority in these democratic election often turn to the United States and global business interests to take to the streets and make it appear there is a mass  movement. Scott Horton often has these silly guests who speculate without a shred of evidence, aside from what we did to Iran in 1953, that all protest political domestic troubles in other countries are somehow caused by increasing US imperialism to its backyard.   in the form of NGO development projects, “organizations whose gestures in defense of democracy are just a front for covert, aggressive attacks and provocations directed at progressive governments. Horton says these coups are more silent ones intended not to give the United States a bad name internationally having learned from past mistakes of forcefully and violently using the military of these other countries basically to just overthrow any governments they did not like and want in power. These protests have evolved because the business press had purportedly put in the minds of Brazilians that their countries incredible growth was going to make it a future superpower and now they just see it for what it was in total bullshit, intended to move money around the globe and prevent governments from taxing this wealth.
