Texas is a smelly and scummy red-state of arch conservatives obsessed with guns and football. it is home of many private universities where the football program is the most important part of the institution and recently one of these universities had a scandal of immense proportion. It seems that Baylor University for years ignored rape accusations towards its beloved football players as they had the green light to sexually assault co-ed women at will with the university and football program looking the other way. president Kenneth Star and head coach Art Briles are gone and done with at this ultra-religious university were football players are worshipped on par with the virgin Mary.
One must wonder if the Virgin Mary would be safe on this campus and with the administration and local law enforcement officials allowing these dirty athletes to treat women as meat at will. The prestige of the football team was too much for police and administrators to punish and it took outside groups and pressure to open up files and discover all these accusations that were brushed away in files with locks. How people can send their daughters to these football factories in the South is beyond my comprehension because they are about as safe as a banana in a Chimpanzee cage at the local zoo. 
All these big-time Southern Universities care more about the safety and health of the women who put on the pads than the daughters who need Chasity belts ore than the pads of their own they wear. The Baylor University fiasco should not be very surprising given the twisted culture of sports ADD that infects the minds of so many men in this country, Coach Briles was fired and was an important step and show against all these programs that do their owned unprofessional investigation which often leads an inquisition against the accuser and pressure of the female victim in order to protect the Neanderthal lineman.
