Baba Pugwuthi
Ravi Shankar Prasad has trouble sleeping at night wondering about the youth of India. The minister for communications and information technology announced new guidelines for users on such fast growing internet sites such as Bharat matrimony and Shaadi are being used by both males and females for dates and fun one night stands than strict spouse searches. Times are changing in India and old dudes like Ravi just can't accept that young people may not want to seek out a life-long partner right away and play the field. Conservative old Indians are fearful of a Tinder hook-up culture that so many young Indians and Pakistanis have joined with their peers and there really is little Mr Prasad and other old bastards can do about this spreading into India. The Indian government wants to force young people only to use these sites for matrimonial purposes but part o this process now includes testing the water and making sure compatibility reaches all doors. The Indian government and old geeks like Ravi say they don't want young Indians to misuse these sites but they are also saying that they don't want the youth to use these sites as well. Old school Hindu old men don't want any date websites or dating as a part of Indian culture and want to retain the power of spousal choice to remain in the hands of the family. Young people in India and Indians around the world don't want this choice not being available to them as they see their international peers having ability to date and enjoy life before the ennui of marriage.
