I was very pleased to read of a massive protest took place in Madrid that few under the radar of the high and tower press on September 11 and didn't get the media coverage it deserved. Young people flocked to Madrid and protested their countries continuing bullfighting murderous cultural heritage beloved by so many of the conservative rural rednecks in the Spanish countryside. These are people who think in order to show pride in being a Spaniard. Many young people are ashamed and horrified a their countries traditions and we have been a long advocate fighting the bull terror industry in Spain where unfortunately so many seem to be cultural proud of their traditions for maiming and harassing a beast for a feast. Hundreds of thousands rallied to show their displeasure in this ancient practice in Spain where up to three hundred thousand bulls a year are tortured and beaten in bullrings every year. This is a practice that will end and can only end with the additional pressure and protest by the nations young and international allies and animal activists around the world. The traditionalists of Spain who push for this culture refuse to think that these bulls being battled are actual living creatures that should not be used for entertainment in slaughter. Close to sixty percent of Spaniards oppose this tradition and how it can continue in Spain is utterly incomprehensible. Spain continues to profit from the running of the bulls which brings many of thee world's elites to Spain to say they can run and harass bulls for fun. The running of the bulls has also been exported in a ore regulatory approach to other countries n order to promote the main one where actual embattled bulls and running on streets occurs every June. In 2013 the Right -wing party in charge tried to make it a federal law to protect this sick institution and this law passed and has been fought back vigorously by the more liberal centers and cities in the country as it refused to subsidize and give money to bullfighting school in this barbaric sport where those making money from it refuse to budge and try to protect this grotesque spectacle.
