Nick Digilio and Brian Noonan talk about cheap sandwiches and wear to get them ignoring that they are not a bargain

WGN radio hosts often talk about food instead of relevant topics of discussion and both Nick Digilio and Brian Noonan are the most egregious examples of this both of them often talking of food. Nick Digilio talked about the cheapest places one can get a sandwich for under 5.99 and if Nick Digilio thinks this is cheap then he is misguided in he head. A better talk discussion for talk radio would of been discussing the rise of corporate sub chains and how much they are rising the prices unnecessary making it more economically feasible just buying your own meats and cheese in a supermarket.Image result for brian noonan radio Digilio will never talk about the high costs of a Firehouse subs  or Potbelly and instead talks about how great these smaller family ethnic places were in Chicago although for six bucks for one sandwich and no fries  pop none of the places mentioned by Digilio are a bargain.Image result for jimmy johns Likewise a Brian Noonan who every other program is about food and fortunately he is not on the radio much these days and from the looks of him he should be in a gym more than a kitchen. You will never hear talked about on corporate WGN radio about how places like Subway, Firehouse subs, Quininzos, Jimmy John's basically produce expansive bad sandwiches and put out low-wage mcjobs serving the cheap ugly strip eye sore strip malls destroying the social cohesion and fabric of communities and the importance of small family busiess. Image result for firehouse subs Both Brian Noonan and Nick Digilio are useful to corporate radio to talk nonsense and promote business be it local or national. the sham of the national sub chain and how expensive these eateries are for the struggling families and people on limited incomes is not a topic either of these two food idiots and shameless promoters of food companies through constant discussion of food instead of politics and inequality is another tieless example of the dismal programming the few remaining local talk radio stations around the country are able to produce on their airwaves and are a disgrace.Image result for nick digilio
