De Grasse Tyson wrote a book with reference to many subjects he dealt with as host of the famed podcast Star Talk. The book is geared to visual readers as Neil's' book called "Star Talk" is filled with tons of pictures and explores many interesting space topics the owner of the American Museum of natural history is known for outlining in his various TV shows, Ted Talks, and Star Quest interviews the man does all over the media landscape. The book is filled with fact-filled side bars and stunning photography and is the perfect science gift this holiday season if you still havnt got your loved ones Christmas presents at this late date.
This book isn't all about space and Neil looks at other certain questions and causes such as when are we going to cure cancer and is bigfoot real or actually an alien from Mars. This is a simple book to read and follow and is tailor made for skimming and jumping around flippin through the pages and reading the certain space subjects that interest you the most. Neil also tackles the subjects of Christian thought and zombie worship in this culture and how it pertains to ideas of space and time and so forth. this is a difficult book to put down and most people receiving it will definitely look at it for some time and have it on their book shelves for a few years and it makes a perfect new years discussion present as well. 
Hopefully neil in the future explores more cryptozoology thought and try to determine the alien orgins of Nessie or Yeti and see whether these creatures do exist or , as like Neil's Martian settlement colony, are a part of the human imagination,creativity and dream scape.
