Writer Steven Church wants to be one with a tiger and is obsessed with people breaking into zoos and killing themselves by predator. I was expecting a book full of information of man encounter with beast in his critically acclaimed book called "One With The Tiger' as someone who wanted to be one with a cougar or shark of bear. C
Church does mention some people as Timothy treadwell who was eaten by a Grizzly Bear along with his girlfriend after years of trying to live in nature and around these Bears. the inspiration for this book was David Villalobos and his great leap intoa tiger cage wishing to be one with a tiger who mauled the geek and Me Villalobos was lucky enough to survive this encounter and writer Steven church is clearly obsessed with these encounters where nuts wish to get close and become cannon fodder for the jaws of a hungry big being. 
Unfortunately this writer gets caught up in pop culture and early inot the book he starts talking about Leonardo Dicrapio's bear rape scene and movie and a character ahh named glass. Eventually writer Church gets back on track and he talks about glacier national park and the history of bear attacks and some guy who ventured into this park and got attacked. 
I was enjoying this book on center bears and the whack jobs that venture into their territories and then are surprised to see Yogi's go all yoga on their ass before Mr Church's book turned into some piece celebrating the thug that is "iron " Mike Tyson. Appearenty Mike Tyson is another animal beast predator of some time and one wonders if Steven Church thinks of Mike Tyson being the missing link and mans ast connection to its brutal caveman anaimal past in outr evolutionary path that some human s still retain to this day. 
Whether Mike Tyson is man or beast is not known but for some reason this writer becomes focused on the movie Reservoir Dogs and "Iron" Mike Tyson and his famous quotes and brutality in the ring an dout in this man/beasts past. Church is amazed with ear dismemberment and wishes a bear would give him a nice earache and headache during rough sex. Again Mr Church's writing gets lost and influence from Hollywood big screens in his book as he gets into a long dialogue about the plot for some stupid movie called Blue velvet and ho an ear dismemberment is related to his nature wildlife book is beyond me. I was about to wish I lost this vook at the end and was very disappointed by this crap.
