Steve Dahl and Garry Meier bothered by media reprts in headlones of school closers

   Steve Dahl and his partner Garry Meier talk a lot of nonsense on Chicago's WLS radio 890 and last week they were bothered by the medias incessant reports of school closures during major snowfalls. Dahl ridiculed the news medias continuing of showing school closures as the news broadcasts occur and he and  Meier think this is antiquated as most school systems have automatic  dialing systems to call every student in the morning. Dahl and Meier also hate it that local networks have to make a big del even reporting the severe winter weather hitting the area and they spent a good deal of time talking and bashing local media and their reports of severe winters in Chicago.  Meier as well thinks these newscasts with school closings on the bottom of the TV screen look ridiculous and said these school closings affect a few people and should not be on the newscasts constantly running like stock quotes or something. School closings has been a part of local news media for decades and it is not going to stop because these two knuckleheads don't care to see it one having grown up kids and another who never had any kids or had to worry about kid and a school day. Dahl and Meier are frequent critics of news in general and take every opportunity to play station mangers and bash local media and how they run things and should do things according to dahl and Meier as the Chicago radio legends now how it should be done. Perhaps Dahl and Meier should pool their resources from over forty years of radio broadcasting as a radio duo and these jackasses can run their own local news station and then they can have these broadcasts that skip over the important and crucial reporting of school closures and running them on the bottom of the screen.
