Rick Telander reflects of normal aging decline of friend Mike Adamle and blames the one year of NFL football career with the Chicago Bears in 1974

Mike Adamle has brain trauma being a former football player and TV sports host according to rick Telander. Rick is a personal friend of Mike Adamle and how this guy had]s brain trauma when his NFL career was a cup of coffee and in the years he did play the clown got probably less than a hundred carries a year. Telander's  recent article about his friend and Chicago sports  TV host was bizarre and clearly Adamle would never even had a sports news broadcasting career if he hadn't taken a few hits for the team. funny though I often wondered why this guy was even given a news sports gig in broadcasting when his contributions to Chicago Bear lore and history was about as crucial as Peter Tom Willis and Rick Mirer. Without sports a Mike Adamle and others would be plumbers, pipefitters, custodians etc etc and somehow the traumas and tribulations these people face as the age don't get the same scrutiny and sympathy as former ballers. For all we know the lapse of memory, struggle for air intake, chronic pain, minor seizures, and moronic neuron take over could all be a sign of normal aging process and have nothing to do with football.  Image result for mike adamle tv sports Rick Telander also says Adamale has  been diagnosed with dementia but again there are thousands of people diagnose with this disease who never played college or professional football. Telander tells his readers that Mike struggles with skinning these days and ball room dancing as any sixty seven year old man would have difficulty. I somehow wondered if this sportswriter, one of my favorite three rick pricks of the sports writing world, realizes we all lose vivacity as we age and these traits at not limited to those who played collision ball in dumb American football. Rick Telander and others continue to tell the little Johnny's of the world that its not palpable to play this game and get the even limited fame that scrubs like mike Adamle
