In late may some business publications wrote pieces about warnings of over-work and an ominous future for Starbucks as Business Insider interviewed several former Starbucks employees. star bucks continues to expand and has done as much to push and promote coffee as my beloved Dunkin Donuts as more and more people get the idea to stay slim and skip meals you should treat yourself to good coffee. These disgruntled Starbucks employees often bitch about staffing issues as many say the lack of labor is killing morale. The few times I have been at a Starbucks though there seems to be plenty of baristas around bumping into each other and I hardly believe staffing can be a problem. these people are not cooking they are usually pumping a button for their labor so this is bullshit.
Dunkin Donuts always has way fewer employees than a Starbucks. of course these workers demanded more pay from Starbucks as well as published by the business press critical of Starbucks. I don't know hut it seems lie a warehouse job would be more work and less fun and one of the criticism of these former workers was that corporate frowned upon long conversations with customers. The former baristas also complain that their issues are not being addressed and the experience of working in a Starbucks is becoming more and more worse as there is no support to their declining morale. ore and more Srarbucks baristas are bashing the cult that only pay it often busy workers nine bucks an hour and one of the reasons they pay that low is so
Howard Schulz and marketing executives can make all of the incomes from sales and ahhh make commercials for corporate network TV or pro sports viewing. Anyway these snobbish Starbucks urban baristas need to stop complaining and go and work for Dunkin Donuts or something if they don;t like Starbucks. Howard Schultz is to busy to deal with them talking to fellow executives and the size of his new yacht he is planning in buying soon
