A golf course in Calgary, Canada has evacuated its geriatric golfers twice in one month as Bob The Bobcat has become mistaken for a crazy cougar. Bob the bobcat is our favorite nomadic hungry bobcat out there often patrolling the foothills and sand bars of North america and this month he has found himself in and around Willow Park Golf and Country course. Now this of course being in the country you would think they would not have panic attacks at the site of wild animals, but it appears the crazy Western Cougar freaks folks out and anything that resembles it from afar is enough to get the hearts beating between rounds of this boring game.
who knows how they would react if a Tiger would to suddenly appear form the woods and basically sink a hole in a rabbit hole. A ho in one for Tiger Woods. Anyway this attack on our favorite species of Cougar is alarming and there was no need to even run people off the golf course as the cat some old fogies saw was only Bob a small housepet sized cat with a big belly of bird neat and mouse muff. Bobcats and Cougars are all over Calgary and the many lush snow-filled golf courses are filled with these animals year round. Bob's gig may be up as he enjoyed chilling in the gold course and eating the variety of gophers and prairie dogs in and around all of these courses as a new strategy of trained foxes goes into affect soon.
The golf courses have decided if wild animals will roam about it will be their wild animals and the course will get paid by some fox and fur breeding corporate company to put out trained humble and nimble foxes to chase out these bobcats and to bait the Mountain Lions ahh out in the open to be shot or something. These expensive country clubs can afford this and not afford having their dues paying members frightened at the prospect of Bobcats like Bob and wild Pumas running around.
