Oscar Gamble is dead

  Oscar Gamble was a average ballplayer that played for two of Chicago's most famous baseball teams that being the loser 1969 Chicago Cubs team that blew like a twelve game lead in August and was always memorialized decades later by old baseball fans in the Windy City. Oscar was a minor rookie with a few at bats for that team but he would be one of the main players for the ill-fated 1977 South Side hitman of this incredible 1977 Chicago White Sox who were perhaps the best team to ever finish in third place. Gamble had a huge season back in that year and looked like he was finally realizing his potential as many thought of him as another Willie Mays when he was in the miner leagues.

The problem with Oscar was that he partied like it was1999 in 1969 and the guy was an opioid addict dope fuck long before the term was accepted and realized. He purposely grew an Afro so large because he didn't want to wear a hat or helmet and this guy was trouble form day one in the league obsessed with racial identity feelings and demand for big payouts through greed that was seeping through players in this era. Oscar should of stayed with the Sox as he left for free agency and never came close to the stats he did comfortable in Chicago's South Side and he was one of the fee players who could make those awful uniforms look cool as he would slide like a bull and take out opposing players like he was a defensive back.Oscar left the Sox for the Yankees and eventually found himself out hustled and outplayed in San Diego by a player named Dave Winfield.
