Today's question we are left pondering as news that Reverend Billy graham has joined Hugh Heffner in that special club in the sky is who was more hip and cooler back in the day and had more influence of the two. Billy Graham preached to millions of eyes and hearts the word of God while Hugh Heffner's publication allowed many mens eyes to scope and view women naked on paper. Hugh Heffner started and revolutionized the print world while Billy graham just spoke and claimed he heard God speak and repeat his word. Billy Graham converted many minds and spoke of the day we would go to the heavens and sky.
Hugh Heffner's sexual promotion helped create the mile high club. Both men were major influences of the sixties and it is ironic how long they lasted dying so close in time to one another. Hugh Heffner was often surrounded by women in leotards dressed up as little
bunnies. Billy G was surrounded by other old assholes dressed in suits and with bibles. Billy Graham traveled throughout the country stopping in small town and small town America speaking of the need to change. Hugh Heffner traveled to big city throughout big city seeing cabaret shows and women's clothes of taken off to change. Reverend Graham went to bed often at night and sweated throughout the night thinking of his sins. Hugh Heffner went to bed at night with countless women he shared and swapped sweat. Hugh Heffner's logo is a rabbit ears and already this logo is starting to fall out of culture and relevancy while Graham is part of the cross and as long as Christianity is around the cross will be there. The answer to who was cooler Billy graham or Hugh Heffner seems obvious but whether whose name becomes more of a historical legacy remains in question and unquestionably will be linked to bible thumpers who will still hold sway as the name of Jesus will still be more remembered and revered than Miss February 1973.
