Brian Basset is no Bill Waterson and Charles Schulz and his ugly Rover dog in no snoopy

Arnold Buckley
Red Rider comic strip artist Brian Basset is obsessed with Peanuts and Calvin and Hobbes but unfortunately his comic strip doesn't come close to two of these all time classics and many in the comic world wish Brian Basset would just retire earl like a Bill Watererson.  Basset is obsessed with getting his ugly comic strip land ugly dog and kid cartoon on the same platform with snoopy and Charlie brown and it might explain why he often draws these two classic strips into his own
Conic strip artist Brian Basset likely would prefer redrawing Calvin and Hobbes and Peanuts instead of his dog shit comic strip most people by pass and not give a second thought or mention. Brian basset makes reference to old classics all of the time and the man needs to come up with original material for this strip and not fantasizing about Wild E Coyote,Roadrunner, and the crazy Cougar.
Charlie Brown often makes appearances in Brian's comic strip and these classic comic strips somehow bring Brian ability to come up with ideas when struggling to come up with original thought in red and rover's daily lives. Brian Basset's dog comic strip is basically a combinations of Peanuts and Calvin and Hobbes that copy impingement rights and desist orders should be place seven on the strips without the obvious peanuts and Calvin imagery. Once again seeing the crap of modern comic world we desperately need Bill Waterson to return to the world of comics and offer something new and take space away form the likes of a Brian Basset and his golden retriever that essentially is a comic strip just to retrieve old comic strip material into new and uninteresting offering of his.
