Tim Hortons coffee is an institution in Canada and progressive activist Linda,McQuaig recently put this company on a hot list. Apparently the heirs to the Tim Horton empire put forth out to their employees that forty minute breaks will no longer be paid after Canada recently was forced to pay higher minimum Wagesset forth upon the company.
Linda McQuaig said that Jeri-Lynn Horton-Joyce and her father who has a net worth of 1.4 billion thoughts coffee Canadian chain that makes bad coffe fought vociferously against raising the minimum wage for its workers. The coffee in this place is nothing like Dunkin Donuts and far inferior and recently a Tim Horton's mopened up in Indiapolis but closed quickly as no one went or repeated a visit to this shitty Canadian chain. Ms Horton Joyce or whatever rher name is told her workers because of the increase of wages set forth by the government that their paid perks for breaks were coming to an end as this was somehow a payback by this billionaire family against the people who attend their business.
Linda McQuaig is a huge activist fighting the one percent in Canada and she pointed out that business commentators say raising the minimum wage will result in job losses but that Tim Horton's doesn't hire and retain out of generosity but because it needs them to serve its thirsty customers. While mpraising premier Kathleen Wynn's minimum wage law for helping a bit workers at the bottom Linda McQuaig says ensuring workers can unionize and fight back against corporate power is a strategy that also needs to be implanted by Ottawa and end the growing abuses and power of the Horton clan and their attack on workers break time and benefits angered at a little gain for Tim Horton's workers toiling these stores and making Horton's a billionaire greedy capitalist clan.
