Jed Anderson has been a major disappointment for fans of Aussie football North Melbourne Kangaroos. The man form Tennessee Appalachian mountain s is the first hillbilly to play Australian football and has been hampered by injuries for two years causing him to be one of the most hated and unpopular sportsman in North Melbourne. They still love him in South Melbourne but in the home of the Kangaroos Jed Anderson is hated and despised as he missed all of entirely 2016 season with a hamstring injury and then followed
that season by missing the next campaign with a should injury that left him MIA and Australian football fans wondering why so much loot is being given to this guy. Jed is healthy now though and in recent weeks he has been on a tear on the field and is just kicking it at the right time and a driving force for the reemergence of North Melbourne Kangaroos as the most amazing team in the AFL.
Against the Tigers on Sunday afternoon, the Kangaroos midfielder put forward one of his finest performances yet.Anderson had 28 disposals, including 16 contested possessions, while he also recorded seven clearances, five tackles and three inside-50s.It was the third consecutive week Anderson had recorded 21 or more disposals, while he has also averaged 14 contested possessions in that same time frame.
Whether this statistics actually mean anything in sport is not known but what is important for Kangaroo fans is to see this highly touted Yankee from the backwoods of Kentucky finally play as the first redneck American to excel in this traditionally Australian sport. Jed can run and kick like the best of them but it is his marksmanship as a midfielder to toss and put the ball into play and preferably the hands of his teammates that helps bring in the mega-millions for this Kangaroo with the eye of an eagle and arms like an octopus.
