Mishawauka,Indiana had descendants of actual pirates and one can find many of these men in the dive and shit bars that are a ubiquitous part of the environment. I happen to visit a few places and without a doubt one of the biggest pirate rural redneck hillbilly bars I have let reviewed in the tri-state area has to Pirates Cove where many of the customers and regular clienteles of this establishment look like modern day pirates,act like modern day pirates, and worse of all...smell like what one would envision 17th century raiders and plunders of the seas to smell like. Pirates Cove is another NASCAR bar and pretty much NASCAR fans would primarily be pirates and living life of the seven seas if piracy was still a lucrative and respected occupation today. Pirates Cove had a lot of old bar flies likely tramps or wenches of these old pirates and people were drunk like a skunk in this skuzzy shit hole the time I went to review and categorize this bar as owner of a similar sized old structure bar on Irving Park Road in the Chicago area behind Tree Guys pizzeria. There was no pizzeria near this bar as it sat in a residential area that is even scary to walk through after dark and a few blocks form Mishawauka's downtown. A scary shit hoe hoe in the wall is this bar if I have ever seen one and the place is just filled with would be pirates and those wishing they can be drunk, merry, and live the freedom of one.
