Mark Cuban and silly Adam Silver propose a regular season tournament and other ridiculous ideas in the coming year

    Arnold Buckley

There is talk of major change in the NBA scheduling and Use some teams of talent throughout the year. We have come up with tense suggestions that in addition to the in season tournament perhaps the national basketball league no basketball league can accept our proposals for changes to spice up the regular season which there is a lack of interest the talk of a tournament within a season in December where the top eighteens would play a single elimination has been the talk of the league and a new idea thrown out there by the likes of Mark Cuban to drum up more interest in the national basketball Luke we have 10 other suggestions that would also promote the game and add some livelihood to the boring

Winter months of Winter battle Number 10)   A naked  game . This would be awesome get tons of media attention for an otherwise boring November 20 NBA game day. There should be one game where all the players are naked perhaps this should be Valentine's Day or whatever number 9)   A horse tournament instead of playing a regular basketball game that's walking teams should compete for a couple of days in the game of horse on the court the court and this would provide alternative and quicker versions of games in the dreary and dull winter months number 8 )   A 3 point shooting game only for a week perhaps in November all games should consist of only 3 point shootings and no slam dunks this would definitely spice up the game and bring much more outside shooting into the games for the week number  7)

3 and 3 basketball  games. The old version of 5 on five  with 10 men on the court is antique and there should be a month of NBA league where it is all 3 and 3 for the entire game allowing for more continuity and bench use and this would bring up huge interest. number 6)   would be a 6'4 and under day where all of the NBA teams either put out short players or recruit shorter basketball player seven if for this one game as I recall there was actually a successful basketball league in the eighties that was based i this concept. The owners of the NBA need to highlight the fact that their players come in all sizes and the short players need to be highlighted with a special day game that celebrates them. Number Five 5)  There should be Mascot coach day where all of the

NBAs games mascots are thrust to coach  for one game out of the year where they get to head coach for a day of amuse and abuse and this would definitely  bring interest in what would otherwise be a boring February game few would otherwise flow for the day. Number 4)  would be a skills game where jumping ability and dribbling are tested and recorded between two teams and a series of judges and basketball experts can record the data and define the victors in a skills test match up replace the traditional NBA game for one day.

Number 3) would be a no time limit pass and shoot contest with  no jumping  as well. By playing  the traditional way of the games founding in the 19th century would be cool and give today players a reminder how lucky they are the game was changed to give advantage to the Black athlete in all aspects of the game and the traditional game would be of pass and underhand shooting. Number 2) would be a ladder match.  A ladder should be held up to each and every basket and in order to score we will conclude that one has too have to climb up in a ladder and drop the ball simply after dribbling and climbing up the e ladder. A unique perspective and different take on the game.

and the number one 1)  game change the NBA s seriously considering of initiating as a change to go along with their in season tournament is a slam dunk week. The NBA should preset a week in January and declare it all slam dunk all of the time and no points will be counted unless they are slammed. The idea  of a in season tournament is absolute  ridiculous as anything short of the championship is not a worthy thought or follow.
