Sassy Chip Walter's ape hypothesis

Chip Walter's book last ape standing tries to explain why mankind survived while other human type apes dies off. The book goes into details of Neanderthals and other walking upright primates man is descended. Chip has some unusual assumptions about human evolution none of which really can;t be proven. He says we developed youth adult faces in a natural sex selection which he basically is saying our ape ancestors were pedophiles. Aside from posing in dramatic poses I think this book was very dull even if you like reading about human evolution and apes from a very long time ago. All theories on human evolution are theories but Chip seems to have a chip on should concerning some of the facts he questions. This book was dull and I think Chip worries and lives in the past too much. Perhaps the least interesting mammal were hominids in the past and I am sure an early version of habitat destruction was reason many other undiscovered went extinct thanks to these apes. There are many more interesting animals to write about than our monkey ancestors and indeed Chip has written about them. Needless to say those books are more interesting than sassy Chip's latest book trying to solve the puzzles of human evolution.
