Tax dodging Apple and Tim Cook are through
Troy York
Apple is losing innovation. News that Apple shares are dropping and this once symbol of tech geekness and coolness is finally losing its appeal. Of course the media blitzkrieg glamorizing this company and its products over other similar products was clearly reason for this companies fame. I knew when that egomaniac jerk Steve Jobs dropped dead that this company would lose its charm. The corporate and media wolrld loved this old bald man and the products he would show off. Future historians will look back at this generation and wonder why we put such a premium on certain people in society and these electron gizmos. Members of the House were questioning the tax practices of Apple and it is a shame customers who love Apple never questioned why their company adds so little important tax money to our nations coffer. They also don't ask why Apple shipped so many jobs overseas and have other companies contract workers in atrocious conditions. Smartphones and computers will not be as popular as they are now in the future regardless if something new comes out or not. They will be the newspapers of the day and be around until there is a decrease in material to make the actual thing. China and other countries will hoard some of the precious elements and metals to make this and people will have to deal without their Apple. Perhaps a new CEO will develope and come out like Steve jobs to make people take notice and read books about him. Of course, Apple products will not be as new and different so people will care less.
