Frank McCourt is some rich asshole that owned the Dodgers. owners like him threatened the integrity of sports and I think most are corrupt in some ways. McCourt had his wife placed as CEO and these bastards were milking the organization giving themselves salaries like they were players on the fucking field. I have often thought that the money thrown to subsidized corporations with massive tax breaks often went to non-essential things such as sports and the advertising dollars they gladly burn. Major league baseball got these asshole owners out but there will always be others out there owning ballclubs and doing the same thing. this couple are out and now that they have a divorce coming this situation gets really sticky. Bloomberg Businessweek gave this asshole a page explanation decrying how Bud Selig and MLB were being unfair and that his financial obligations were being met. Hogwash. This fucker was ruining this team in his own greedy needs and the fact that Bloomberg magazine would give this guy a platform is obviously because of their pro-business platform. Business owners like Frank McCourt have been ruining organizations with their mismanagement for years and the only reason this is getting the deserved publicity is because these tax-dodging dodger owners are threatening the existence of a famed baseball organization in America. This guy has runned out of money and cannot meet the outrageous salaries of his own fucking players. he is hoping for a FOX TV network bailout so he can keep running the LA Dodgers into the ground. television money for a product so few view is utterly ridiculous and its only a matter of time these corporations realize that throwing money in TV advertising is not a wise move.
