The Atlanta Falcons had been one of my more favorite teams over the past few years and I always rooted for them in the playoffs. Matt Ryan had the potential to be a Tom Brady type super elite quarterback but he has totally failed in the playoffs and the falcons have totally collapsed this season. I watched and studied their game against the Bengals and this is clearly a team that has quit early this season. The Falcons are so bad that I don't think Matt Ryan will ever be the same again and is best to move on if he wants to keep his stellar career in the NFL. Many of the great quarterbacks have had to move on to other teams and organizations over the years and the era of Matt Ryan Falcons domination is over. A quarterback with hall of fame ability would not accept these losses and not appear to just quit and play less hard because of early season difficulties. Most of your Super Bowl winners put on late season rushes and winning streaks after the half way mark of the elongated NFL season. Matt Ryan sucks this season because his team sucks plain and simple. This is a guy who has to have many great teammates playing to their full ability in order for him to put up great numbers football fans were accustomed seeing him do early in his career. it will be much tougher in coming years for Matt Ryan to replicate some of these numbers.
