It seems the Anglo world is just plain addicted to James Bond movie. they could put out a James Bond spy thriller every month and the potential for this movie to bring in record box office revenues as the latest Spectre was another big time Bond movie. Bond movies are the epitome of stupidity and unrealistic features of the spy world and its success just pretty much increases the stupidity of the entertainment needing English speaking world. these movies do their best to calumniate the real spy world that does still see much action though nothing like the bullshit you see on the big screen. These movies today featuring James Bond are just paroxysm of violence and computer generated explosions that movie audiences eat up for some reason. James Bond really should of just been a one movie character as there were so many in movies through the fifties and sixties but the enduring aspect of this character and numerous movies and popularity is a significance of an Anglo-Saxon world which knows it is in decline. Bond movies give the English-speaking world fantasies that they are still in power and able to overcome all obstacles thrown to them. the fear of and end of English speaking hegemony is what really drives movie audiences towards these movies and yes this could include Chinese markets of a Hong Kong nature that prefer to see Englishmen's economic stability and powerbase that has been good to Chinese merchant class.
This movie Spectre is just another ridiculous fairy tale spy story that has been rehashed so many times over that it gets old and sometimes I wonder why people still gravitate to these offerings. Bond movies also don't get the criticism of the serial killing basis of the character and portrayal of guns is readily visible in pre-release advertising and promotion of this garbage. Is it it any wonder why society has so much guns and violence when heroes and stars are made out of this violence and tribute to male ego that is the James Bond bad Hollywood creation of destruction. it saddens me to see these movies still made with bad English actors such as Daniel Craig portraying these characters that refuse to go away. Great Britain has ceased to be a major power for several decades but in watching these Bond movies you would think her majesty's kingdom is still flying high. Like I said some fantasies are hard to get rid off.
