One million Japanese young males lock themselves in their bedroom and this societal problem in japan is called Hikikomori. This health problem is growing in Japan and more and more Japanese, primarily males, are suffering from this mental disease. This Japanese men just absolutely refuse to come out of their bedrooms and possible some closets as well. Japanese culture instills a strong sense of shame for those who don't conform and the authoritarian conservative nature of Japan has directly lead to this epidemic. World media outlets have slowly be reporting more and more on this huge health and social condition affecting so many dam Japanese men. What few say though is the many cultural options and entertainment that allows this nimrods to stay at home in their mommy's bedrooms and often the case their parents allow this instead of throwing out the bums.
In America many of these men would wind up in prison and perhaps the reason Japan has had such a low prison rate is many young men of insanity behaviors give themselves a self-created prison lifestyle. Japan likely has always had this problem along with men from other parts of the industrial world who just can't stand modern society so they lock themselves up either figuratively or commit crimes to have the state do it for them. I sense Hikikomori is hardly a Japanese problem as any visit to a neighborhood mall or out in public in the west and all you see is overwhelmingly females. Worried parents and government officials worry who the fuck will take care of these mental cases when they die as the phenomena grows and Hikikomori becomes an ever bigger social problem in Japan and other parts of the world. These young men may not realize it but when their parents die their free ride of surfing the internet, watching TV, Reading comics, drinking soda, and playing video games will need to be financed somehow. Hikikomori is a problem of to things I will leave you and that is too much distraction and gadgets for these guys to develop addictions to and a vision of their importance being of uttermost importance and thus they don't have to do nothing . take away the toys and internet from these fucks and see how quickly these saps go out and see trees.
