Dollar General stores are messy shit stores put into poor neighborhoods and a reminder to them and society the complete different world inequality the corporate mall class has initiated upon culture. Dan Bell is a YouTube host of retail archaeology where he just basically walks his fat ass in either new boring construction malls or goes deep inside the boarded up dark cave dead malls across America and his Retail Archaeology is one of the more popular YouTube non-political sites out there and Mr Bell is a YouTube rock star.
I found his recent ten minute video and research of some dollar General stores of most interest as like Bell I wondered how this retail shit hole is so successful and who is funding it. There are so many Dollar Generals and this is obviously some really cheap method of taking up space with a pretend company that brings about some of the worse product and experience of shop seen in the history of retail. As Art Bell exposes in his video
The amount of clutter and fire safety hazards this man sees in Dollar Generals with exit doors blocked with junk is amazing and Dan can't believe this company is successful. Much of the items are of low quality mainly sugar junk offering little of nutritional value and much of it seems very close to being expired.
There really is no reason Dan reckons why these stores need to be so messy and nasty and Mr Bell says they are so understaffed and cluttered he wonders why anyone would go there and usually the case is these rural communities and far out suburban poor no go zones often have little choice aside from Dollar stores, corner Hindu-owned convenience stores, and gas stations. Art Bell says these stores should be cleaner and better and because they offer low prices is no excuse to have it looking like a tornado went through. I have often wondered why the ruling classes and elites alloow such disparity and it is because they profit from shipment of Chinese shipped garbage found in these stoores while they get to live in city neighborhoods of high income earners filled with antique shops, salons, boutique clothing stores, indepdent bagel/donut and coffee shops, and of course the fancy restaurants. We highly recommend Retail Archaeology as a YouTube channel and watch of his videos examining the disturbing inequality trends and different worlds of the dollar shit hole and overly luxury high-end malls across this country.
