Cougar face explains Chicago Black Hawk white fandom

 Cougar Face

The Chicago blackhawks are popular thanks to the sports industrial complex and the mass media pushing what was once just a boring regional game for Eskimos. You will see many young and old folks put on sweatshirts of the jersey worn by the players on the ice. This stupidity would be the equivalent of civilians wearing military uniforms when there is a parade welcoming back soldiers from one of their foreign oil wars. Never mind that for now but many friends ask me what I think of the Chicago Black hawks regarding Indian mascots in sports. Living in Chicago for a number of years I am dismayed that nobody seems to lump this organization with the Washington Redskins and Cleveland Indians. it is the same mentality of a caricature and dehumanizing of American Indians and their struggles in America. Hockey is popular because the white fans in the stands know the players and fans will always resemble them. You never see minorities or actual descendants of the real BlackHawk at any blackhawk games. How the hell this hockey team and their racist fans get a pass I will never understand. A Filipino friend observed that these assholes with their ridiculous jerseys are paying 9000 dollars for these playoff games as a record number of people are on food stamps and unemployment. perhaps no sport more shows the grotesque inequality in American society more than hockey and the God dam Blackhawks. most of the fans in the stands with their Indian head jerseys are surely connected to working in the banking and financial industries of Chicago. Chicago is a huge financial center and their power and money are primary reasons the working class have been kicked out of the city and the United Center. Hockey use to be a blue collar fan base and they are the ones that really helped the league to survive in the early years. of course, their racist attitude allowed some bad names in all of the major sports leagues. it is really surprising to see upper class fans still allow a nickname like Blackhawks to nourish despite these PC times, but that pretty much sums up their attitudes and respect for those lower on the totem pole.
