This great book is a collection of great stores and essays about the beautiful North American animal called the Cougar. This animal holds a special place among Native Americans and reading these stores of mainly researchers and their encounters and thoughts of this great cat was marveling. One of the better nature animal books out there and offers a wide diverse view of the incredible cougar. These authors have a special appreciation in their heart for this animal that I also share with this spiritual beast. Through the voices of these writers we can hear the voice of this animal vocalizing through nature like a river or the wind. This animal speaks to all of us with its skill in overcoming the challenges of survival in a rough habitat and terrain filled with enemies and fleeing prey. The fact that this animal has been able to flourish speaks volume of the sirts that protect this creature and its cubs. This animal deserves to be in Americas canyons,our jungles,our forestland,our deserts,our mountains.our our grasslands,cities,parks,reservations,malls, etc etc. Everywhere that the cougar goes I go along with it in deep spirt listening to their cries of enjoyment and fear. This is an animal i listen to and I love.
