Technology has helped replace many craft jobs people were talented and used their hands. Throughout industry people with actual artistic talent and creativity and innovation have been displaced by machines and the untalented dweebs that have replaced them are much like the robots they master over. Take for example Mr Jim Quinn. A guy like him a few years ago would never be allowed into a motorcycle shop unless he had much greenbacks to spend and have a custom chopper built. This guy added nothing to the show except to demonstrate how American manufacturing isn't about skill anymore but just pushing numbers into a machine and letting it shape and create metal parts. How the hell orange County choppers was even a hit television show and the little brained Craig Piligan would of thought the show would continue to attract viewers having a dude like Quinn a part of the cast. This Jim Quinn is clearly a guy who should of remained behind the scenes even if the dork jerk was an employee of Paul Teutul Sr. Without a doubt just spending twenty seconds of air time with this bozo would be enough to have many viewers drop viewing this so-called reality television show because sometimes reality should not be played up. There are dweebs like Jim Quinn in every office and workplace, but who really wants to watch a dude like that use technology and machines to create something he could never with his own ability. Orange County Choppers became a real suckie television show that I like to make fun of because of geeks like Jim Quinn.
Dead right and on the money!
