Hippos save Gnu from a crocodiles

Jake Glass
Is there any more reason to ban zoos than this amazing story of animals helping other species from certain death. the parental instincts mammals have was in evidence and videotaped in Africa not too long ago as a group of Hippos saved something called a Gnu from the clutches of a crocodile. This seems like a good idea for a mobile platform video game but this actually happened in front of a group of tourists last week.  This poor helpless small hoofed antelope type animal was about to be brought underwater and drowned before becoming a month long meal for a Nile river crocodile. The only animal that these crocs fear are of course the huge hippos that share their river habitat and perhaps just sticking it too their rivals was main motivation for this rescue. Hippos deride crocodiles but this amazing set of pictures and video show that animals can have empathy about dangerous situations and harm for other peaceful animals. One hippo in particular pushed the Gnu towards the river bank and tried to get the land dwelling creature back to where it belongs. I totally have new respect for the hippos after seeing this and maybe having tourists go to the habitat of these animals in limited ways is not all that bad. It sure beats the hell out of zoos  A heroic hippo saved a vulnerable gnu from a fearsome crocodilePeople need to stop going to zoos and protesting their very existence and these intelligent animals don't deserve t be tortured and confided to tiny spaces for the amusement of women and children.
