Pakistan protests rock country and fear policy makers in America

Ali Muhammad
Pakistan is being rocked by protests and perhaps the last thing the United States wants is another dictatorship it supports to fall. Cricket-turned-politician Imran Khan is leading the charge after being angered in losing the election. Last year in what he calls a rigged vote. He calls for Nawaz Sharif to step down as prime minister and his corrupt role in fifteen months that have seen him appointing family members and friends in key posts and has ruled as a monarch since winning the election. This of course has been funded by the Americans that have channeled millions into Pakistan. Thousands of protestors have taken to the streets threatening to take over government buildings if this guy doesn't step down as prime minister. If Pakistan ever goes it will get real complicated and messy and there is no way as in Egypt the American empire will ever let these people actually self-determine the leadership for their own country.
Pakistan has been ruled by the military for most of its existence and undoubted the military will step in again if this issue isn't resolved with the prime minister and the protestors. Pakistani Muslims have wanted a theocracy for a long time but keep getting thwarted each time by the very false promoters of democracy in the West that time in and time out prevent real elections resulting in real victories. These protests hopefully will bring about real change where corruption and foreign influence ends and Pakistan can actually be a nation that is not run by crony capitalist money exchanged between America and a Pakistani elite that does not have the best interests of their country in mind. Imran Khan may be a new  Genghis Khan combination of Adolf Hitler and the great Khan thanks to Western neo-colonialism that is still trying to prevent full-fledged democracy in other countries if it doesn't serve their economic interests. I hope the best for Imran Khan and democracy in Pakistan. he seems like a pretty cool dude that has much following and is against American drone terrorism.
